Jenny is a very experienced old Aviatrix, a de Havilland Hornet Moth. She is very wise, and frequently helps the younger and less sensible aeroplanes to to fly safely and considerately. She has known Archie for many years, and shares a hangar with him and Cynthia.

Although she flies rather slowly these days, she is much appreciated by the jet pilots, who frequently find an excuse to fly down to the coast for the afternoon, or to see relatives in other parts of the country, where Jenny is much appreciated for her rarity and classic engineering.
